Ruth Asbery - Owner of Bottle Green Biking

Ruth has experience across a range of sports and outdoor activities, but has been mountain biking for the last 9 years.  The 7stanes sprung up on her doorstep when she was 15 and hasn’t looked back since.  She has helped build some of the 7stanes trails and did her university work experience with the 7stanes.  She has a BA in Sport and Physical Activity from the University of Strathclyde and Laurentian University (Ontario).  Ruth has ridden all over the world from Whistler to New Zealand.  Ruth holds a current BASP first aid certificate , is a qualified Cytech bike mechanic and an MBL instructor.  Ruth won the PSYBT Regional Business of the Year Award in 2011 and is shortlisted for Scottish Business Award Young Entrepreneur 2012.

Sam has been riding mountain bikes for over 17 years, and has mountain biked in many parts of the world including Utah, Morzine, Whistler and New Zealand. Sam's favourite trails include technical sections of singletrack and the fast flowing trails that Kirroughtree has to offer. She is a qualified MBL (Mountain Bike Leader), CYTECH mechanic and a teacher of PE.
