Orange Demo Day

Orange came up from Halifax with a brilliant collection of bikes from the Alpine 160 to the R8. There were about 20 different bikes there for people to demo in 1 hour slots around the award winning trail centre Kirroughtree. My personal favorite of the day had to be the Blood, an incredibly fast bike with superb handling. Sam from thebreakpad put on a great BBQ for all the people demoing the bikes and it was the hottest day of the year too. All in all a brilliant day and hopefully the guys from Orange will be back to do another demo day in the future.If you are interested in getting yourself an Orange then get in touch with Sam at thebreakpad,there are often Orange bikes there to try and there is 20% off on all upgrades!

Women's Skills Courses

Women only Mountain Bike Skills (Intermediate to advanced)

£105 for the course or £60 for 1 day

We can arrange cheap accommodation in the Outdoor Centre next to us.

Day 1

10am –Welcome & introductions including tea/coffee

10.30am – Bike set up, warm up – riders meet their instructor.

11.00 – 1pm – Skills training with instructor

1pm-1.45pm – Lunch (bring your own sandwich or onsite café will be open)

2pm – 4pm – Hit the trails with your instructor riding on the 7stanes or natural sections trail.

4pm – Home time

Day 2

10am –Meet at Thebreakpad tea/coffee and review previous day

10.15am-12.30 Hit the trails at Kirroughtree or option to use mini bus & trailer to bike at Glentrool

1230-1315 pm Lunch (may be out on the trail or at café)

1330-1530 Hit the trails at Kirroughtree 1530 Rider/instructor feedback, course evaluation and close 1600 Course finishes, home time If you are interested in coming on a similar course, but you can't make these dates, just drop us an email and we'll see if we can provide a course for you.
